Who We Are
So, who exactly is this group of educators that will be spending Spring Break 2008 in Honduras?
Well, we're a bunch of eager, motivated people who are hoping to have some fun over break, learn a lot about another part of the world, and use our time and resources to make a small difference in the lives of kids who need our help.
Our group stands at 30 strong. Many of us, 15 in all, are educators from the Eden Prairie School District in the suburban Twin Cities area. Two members of the trip represent the St. Louis Park School District. And the rest are our closest family members and friends.
While we come from the same general area, most of us are just becoming acquainted with one another. This trip will surely build strong, new relationships and cement many others. None of us can wait!

8:00 a.m. Grocery shopping and visit wood factory
Afternoon - Visit Hogar Tierra Santa
Evening - Attend the wedding of former Hogar student
Monday - Thursday
7:20 a.m. Breakfast at hotel
8:30 a.m. Spend the day at Hogar Tierra Santa
6:00 p.m. Dinner at local restaurant

Getting Ready for Our Trip
It's mid-March and the Eden Prairie, Minnesota group is preparing for our April trip to Hogar de Ninos Tierra Santa in Villa de San Antonio, Honduras. Needless to say, we are all extremely excited!
We're packing our bags and organizing supplies to bring down to the Hogar. Our trip will take place March 29th - April 6th. Please return to this site often as this blog will be updated with information daily during the trip.
